In 1983, she did her social service in the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) and collaborated in the creation of a catalogue of the historic monuments in the City of Oaxaca. In 1984 she received her BS in Architecture in the Autonomous Benito Juárez University of Oaxaca with the thesis entitled: “Considerations of the Architecture in Oaxaca,” and received honorable mention for it. In 1998 she received a diploma en Architectural Restoration awarded by the School of Architecture of the Autonomous University of Chiapas (UNACH). In 2002, received her M.A. in Architecture with the specialization in the History of Architecture in Mexico in the 5th of May School of Architecture of the Autonomous Benito Juarez University of Oaxaca. In 2005, received a diploma in the History of Mexican Art in the 19th Century, awarded jointly by the UABJO and UNAM in the Francisco de Burgoa Library. A member of the Seminar of Mexican Culture since 2009. The foregoing is in addition to courses, seminars and congresses related to history, theory and historic patrimony as well as pedagogical updates in order to have the best tools for teaching.
